About Sr. Insp. Gednat G. Tabdi:
- >> Tabdi was part of the Philippine National Police Academy’s Kapit-Bisig Class of 2009.
- >> At 17, he made the leap from studying veterinary medicine to enrolling at the police academy. He was 21 when he graduated.
- >> He was dedicated to his job. He survived in 2013 the Zamboanga City siege, where he witnessed the deaths of his friends and comrades.
- >> He also leaves behind his parents and five brothers, three of whom are policemen – one is also a member of the Philippine National Police Special Action Force.
- >> Inspired by Gednat’s heroism, his youngest brother who still in college says he wants to join the PNP and become a member of the SAF.
