  • >> He was only 28 but was already a senior police inspector taking a Phd course before he died in the Mamasapano firefight in Maguindanao. 
  • >> Erana, a native of Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur, had almost 30 medals recognizing his outstanding service as a police officer.
  • >> He was supposed to be among the recipients of the Lakan Distinguished Award, the highest mark of recognition granted to the academy's.
